What is included in a yoga retreat at Quinta do Muro?

Our five-night all-inclusive retreat package includes en-suite accommodation, three organic farm-to-table meals per day prepared by Chef Marie Jose, daily morning and afternoon yoga sessions, yoga equipment, and full access to the 13-hectare estate with ocean views over the Ria Formosa. Optional massage, osteopathy, and acupuncture treatments are available at additional cost.

How many guests can Quinta do Muro accommodate for private events?

We host intimate gatherings of up to 50 guests as well as grand celebrations of up to 300 guests across our expansive gardens, seaside terraces, and grand salon overlooking the Ria Formosa.

What is the cancellation policy for retreats?

A 30 percent non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the retreat start date.

Does Quinta do Muro provide catering for events?

Catering is not included in the venue hire price. For smaller events, in-house catering by Chef Marie Jose is available at additional cost, featuring seasonal farm-to-table menus with organic produce from our estate gardens. For larger events, we accommodate external catering teams and coordinate logistics to ensure a seamless experience.

Can I rent the entire estate privately?

Yes, Quinta do Muro is available for exclusive private rental. The estate features unique modernist architecture by Pierre-Louis Faloci, panoramic coastal views over the Ria Formosa, a swimming pool, olive groves, and Mediterranean gardens — ideal for family vacations and private gatherings.

What types of events can be hosted at Quinta do Muro?

We host weddings, milestone birthdays, corporate retreats and presentations, exclusive dinners, cocktail parties, garden ceremonies among our lavender fields and ancient olive trees, and seaside celebrations overlooking the Ria Formosa lagoon and Atlantic Ocean.

How many guests can Quinta do Muro accommodate for a wedding?

The estate hosts seated dinners for up to 250 guests and standing receptions for 300 or more. The grounds offer flexible arrangements for celebrations of all sizes, from intimate gatherings of 30 to large-scale events.

What does the wedding venue hire include?

Venue hire covers exclusive use of the entire 13-hectare estate for your wedding day, including all outdoor ceremony and reception areas, terraces, gardens, and the pool area. Catering, coordination, and accommodation are available separately.

Is on-site accommodation available for wedding guests?

Yes. Nine en-suite rooms across three buildings are available at 3,000 EUR per night for exclusive use. This includes three master suites, two medium doubles, and four standard doubles, accommodating up to 18 guests.

How much does a wedding at Quinta do Muro cost?

Venue hire starts at 10,200 EUR for 30 guests and scales with guest count. A wedding of 100 guests is 23,800 EUR. Accommodation (3,000 EUR per night), welcome evening (5,000 EUR), and day-after barbecue (5,000 EUR) are priced separately. Contact us for a full rate card.

What is the best season for a wedding in the Algarve?

May through September offers warm, dry weather and long evenings with temperatures between 25 and 35 degrees Celsius. June and September are particularly popular. October and April can also be beautiful with mild weather and quieter surroundings.

How far is Quinta do Muro from Faro Airport?

Approximately 30 minutes by car. Faro Airport connects directly to most major European cities, with flight times of two to three hours from London, Paris, and Amsterdam.

Can we bring our own caterer or wedding planner?

Yes. Quinta do Muro is a venue-only hire, so couples are free to work with any suppliers they choose. The estate can also recommend trusted local caterers, planners, and florists who know the property well.
